Looking for an experienced and high-energy Sales Director. The primary function of this role is to accelerate the growth of sales. Primary duties include: setting sales strategy, generating/developing leads, creating proposals and related sales documents, and collaborating with key stakeholders to shape revenue goals and company strategy. The successful candidate will be action oriented, persuasive and well organised, with a proven track-record of developing opportunities and closing sales.

Requirements

  • Degree in business or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of proven experience in sales within the tech sector with emphasis in 3D and AIdriven products. Experience in gaming and VR would be a significant asset.

  • Experience in B2B sales at senior level (including C-suite)

  • Recognised track record in meeting and/or exceeding targets set

  • Recognized existing relationships with senior level customers and internal/external counterparts in the tech sector.

  • Excellent negotiation skills, the ability to close deals and proven track record in doing so

  • Experience in researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methodsto successfully developing, closing, retaining and growing sales opportunities

  • Experience working at international level with experience at global scale being a significantasset.

  • Experience in effectively developing and leading sales teams. Experience managing crosssegment teams would be an advantage.

Main responsibilities:

  • Analyses market research and customer feedback to identify value-added information on customer needs,market trends, industry developments, competitor context, amongst others as input into the development, implementation and adaptation of strategies.

  • Defines and executes appropriate short,medium and long term sales strategies for the company aligned with its vision, mission and strategies.

  • Leads initiatives and programs to maximise sales and profitability including areas such as the development of business opportunities, technical and sales support, amongst others.

  • Grows, develops and leads a global sales team aligned with the scaling up strategies of the company.

  • Develops yearly sales plan with clear targets and strategic action plans to deliver.

  • Identifies and evaluates potential customers within key segments ensuring a healthy sales pipeline.

  • Leverage and develops network to feed sales pipeline and opportunities including presence in key events.

  • Develops and adapts appropriate sales approaches for each customer, understands their needs and effectively moving them through from proposal to contract stages.

  • Effectively negotiates and closes contracts with customer across key segments

  • Provides feedback to key internal stakeholders on customers needs and feedback.

  • Coordinates implementation of the contracts signed with key internal stakeholders ensuring continuous customer satisfaction.

  • Supports in resolution of any customer issues where necessary.

  • Takes proactive and effective actions to ensure customer retention.

  • Identifies and acts upon potential opportunities to grow sales with current customers.

  • Identifies potential sales opportunities with current or new customers coordinating with internal stakeholders to drive these forward as applicable.

  • Defines, implements, adapts and seeks the continuous improvement of the sales processes and tools.

  • Drives collaboration across Didimo including technical, marketing and sales teams to position Didimo as a leader within its field.
